BlueActionBANOS Launches Call for Independent Experts

BlueActionBANOS is launching a Call for Independent Experts and invites professionals with diverse expertise and strong familiarity with local contexts across the Baltic and North Sea (BANOS) region to join its Pool of Experts.

We are looking for experts in aquatic, coastal, marine and maritime fields, including ecosystem protection, pollution reduction, blue economy, ocean literacy and data management, as well as professionals with experience in policy, research, engineering, community engagement, coaching, communication, finance or digital innovation.

Selected experts may be invited to contribute as:

• Independent Proposal Evaluators
• Independent Ethics Reviewers
• Technical Assistance Providers

Experts will support the evaluation of project proposals and provide guidance to funded initiatives working to restore our ocean, seas and waters across Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Sweden.

The Expression of Interest is open from 26 February 2026 until 10 April 2026.

Professionals with relevant expertise and regional knowledge are warmly encouraged to apply and contribute to strengthening environmental action across the Baltic and North Sea region.
