Last week, the BlueActionBANOS project partners gathered in beautiful Nyborg, Denmark for a two-day kick-off meeting. These in-person meetings are invaluable. Not only did we dive into planning key project activities — including the upcoming open calls, which are to support local communities across the Baltic and North Sea in restoring our ocean and waters — but we also laid the foundation for strong collaboration across the consortium.
Getting to know each other face-to-face helps spark ideas and ensure smooth teamwork going forward.
The meeting featured a series of inspiring and insightful presentations, showcasing the expertise and enthusiasm of our partners. And beyond the professional exchanges, we discovered a fun fact: a surprising number of us are proud cat owners!
